Charlotte Rose

Charlotte Rose is one of the jewellery industry’s most trusted authorities. With over 15 years of experience, she founded Furlong Auction House with a mission to offer a modern, transparent, and client-focused approach to jewellery auctions.
Charlotte holds a First-Class Honours degree in Gemmology and Jewellery Studies, and is an Applied Jewellery Professional certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She is also an experienced valuer, having completed the Academy of Experts' Expert Witness course — a qualification that underlines her precision, ethics, and legal understanding when it comes to high-value items.
In 2023, Charlotte made history by becoming the first female Vice President of the London Diamond Bourse, a position that reflects her leadership in the trade and her dedication to shaping its future.

With a razor-sharp eye for detail and deep gemmological expertise, Seth Solomons oversees all diamond and coloured stone consignments at Furlong. He holds a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Gemmology & Jewellery Studies, alongside a suite of prestigious industry qualifications:

Seth is a qualified member of the Institute of Registered Valuers, a member of the London Diamond Bourse, the National Association of Jewellers, and Young Diamantaires — all affirming his dedication to professional standards and ongoing learning.
He has built a reputation for accurately identifying, valuing, and marketing rare diamonds and coloured gemstones — from fancy coloured diamonds to untreated rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and pearls.

Craig Coe

At the forefront of client experience and global sourcing is Craig Coe, who heads up our Concierge Services and Private Sales. Craig specialises in sourcing exceptional luxury items — from diamonds to handbags and watches to branded jewellery and bespoke client requests.
He works closely with both private individuals and trade clients to ensure seamless, white-glove service — whether sourcing a rare fancy coloured diamond, arranging private previews, or assisting high-profile consignments for auction.
Craig is a connector, negotiator, and trusted advisor to a discerning international clientele who rely on his discretion, taste, and tenacity.

Alan Cohen
Special Stones Advisor

Alan Cohen is one of the most respected figures in the global diamond trade, bringing over 50 years of unparalleled expertise in both rough and polished diamonds. As Special Stone Advisor to Furlong Auction House, Alan lends his insight and strategic guidance to our senior team on matters relating to large and important diamonds.
Throughout his distinguished career, Alan has worked across the world’s major diamond centres — from Russia and Africa to London and New York — building a reputation as one of the most trusted and knowledgeable diamantaires of his generation. His deep understanding of the market and unmatched international network continue to be invaluable assets to Furlong’s Jewellery and Special Stones Department.
Alan served as President of the London Diamond Bourse from 2018 to 2023, following years on its Board since 2012. He also holds esteemed positions with the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the World Diamond Council (WDC), where he is actively involved in the Kimberley Task Force, promoting ethical sourcing and trade transparency.
In addition, Alan represents the UK as Diamond Expert to the British Standards Institute and is a long-standing member of the CIBJO Diamond Commission, helping shape global standards in diamond grading and trade.
